The Vernon Warehouse Liquid Facility is the largest nutritive sweetener facility of its kind in the United States operating a 40-million-pound storage capacity tank farm including 2.5 million pounds of dry bulk sweetener storage. State-of-the-art computer systems control and monitor every step in the product handling and movement throughout the plant. An on-site laboratory ensures testing of all products for quality assurance and a dry powder mill produces powdered sugars and glazes fresh daily. In addition to storage and distribution of product for Sweetener Products Co., Vernon Warehouse also provides storage space for sugar refiners and corn wet millers to distribute their products to the western region. Vernon Warehouse and our affiliate Transfreight Services represent the final step in our service by completing the delivery via our fleet of stainless steel tankers and aluminum dry sugar trailers. Serviced, sanitized, and maintained in-house, this fleet represents a crucial key in controlling the quality of product and service to the customer.
